A year after conflict erupted in #Sudan, one third of the population is facing acute levels of food insecurity. Approximately 3.5 million children aged under 5 years suffer from acute #malnutrition. Without a significant scale up of humanitarian aid, and access to all parts of the country, the situation is expected to worsen. Diseases like diarrhoea, pneumonia, and measles are death sentences for malnourished children, particularly in areas where access to essential healthcare is limited.
