In the #Ebola Treatment Centre run by doctorswithoutborders in #Likati, Bas-Uele province in the #DemocraticRepublicofCongo, health workers have received an alert about a possible suspect Ebola case. After examining the clinical symptoms of the young boy to see if they fit the case definition for Ebola virus disease, the team conclude that he is not a suspect case. Regular alerts from health centres throughout the province show that the surveillance system put in place by the Ministry of Health, WHO and partners in this remote area is working robustly.
