In the tiny village of #Gukpale, deep in the equatorial forests of Bas-Uele province in the north-east of the #DemocraticRepublicofCongo, a #doctor from the Ministry of Health talks to a young man who has fallen ill. The 20-year old, suspected of having #Ebola, agreed to a #bloodtest, which proved negative. Villages such as these are only accessible on foot or by bicycle or motorbike and transferring suspect cases safely to Ebola Treatment Centres is not possible.
