Remaking the logo for ‘Ed Wood’ a local carpenter. They needed a visual identity for their projects, which had to be bold enough and simple enough to be transferred to a metal brand to be burned onto their creations. I designed the logomark as a representation of a finger lap joint, a common corner joint in carpentry, to leave an extruded ‘E’ in the negative space.
