It’s tough out there. A national lockdown. Unemployment at a record high. And suicide rates (men especially) at their highest rate in twenty years. Almost three years ago I lost a friend and colleague to suicide. His funeral was one of the hardest things I’ve had to endure. Those he left behind were bereft and questioning whether or not they could have done something. Had he just reached and talked to someone, perhaps it could have been prevented. Open up, don’t man up.
