When I interviewed Bill Cunningham in 1994 he spoke of all the “French photographers” he got studios for in Carnegie Hall Studios where he lived. “Those ‘kids’ used to give me their old cameras.” One of those “kids” was @patrickdemarchelier (also @gilles_bensimon #michaelreinhardt #pierrehoules) I hope these pics by #billcunningham of M. Dermarchelier reach his family as I would imagine perhaps they’ve not seen their pop as a youngster with a very big dog! @victordemarchelier @staleywisegallery @galerieparis @camerworkgallery #thetimesofbillcunningham @mark.bozek @josieborain @liverocketstudios
