Saudi Arabia’s new airline Riyadh Air has unveiled images of its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, moving closer to the launch of operations.
The airline reportedly received its operational certification earlier this year and is preparing for its maiden flights soon.
Owned by the kingdom’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), Riyadh Air is expected to connect to more than 100 destinations by 2030 as part of Saudi Arabia’s aviation expansion plans.
The carrier has signed an agreement with Boeing for 39 Dreamliner 787-9 aircraft, with options for an additional 33 planes.
