“In the basement today “furring” out the foundation walls to bring them into plane with the upper portion of the wall. We’re doing this so we can add a layer of insulation over the concrete, as some of the exterior foundation is above grade. This will also make it much easier for us when we attach the paneling the homeowner has selected for their finished walls. It’s a very tedious process but it’ll make our finish work so much easier!
