Swimming has always been something Derek has loved. From growing up going to the river to swimming 4 years on the varsity swim team in high school. To be honest, swimming is probably the only form of exercise Derek truly enjoys. We’re so thankful he still gets to compete and thrive in the pool with his Special Olympics team!
