😐It's with mixed emotions I write this post. Whilst the fact we have a need for food banks in the sixth richest nation on earth is heartbreaking. But the harsh reality is, if we didn't then a lot of people would be going without. - 🥄Glad to be part of the Wooden Spoon team in donating £2000 as part of their Pass The Plate Campaign to Lewisham Food Bank, in one of my home towns. You can get involved too via the Wooden Spoon social channels and please next time you think of the people who use food banks, ask yourself, how many missed pay cheques are you away from needing one yourself. Maybe 2 or 3? It can happen to the best of us. No need to pass judgment.
