🤯Absolute madness. I'm going to a World Cup!!! I'm actually going to get on a aeroplane. Travel the othersode of the world and be in a World Cup. 🚸To say it's a child hood dream come true would be a complete lie. Growing up I never knew rugby existed, as an adult I became aware it was a thing people who go to fancy schools with grass pitches in their playground (imagine that in the middle of New Cross) do. 🏉Never up to the age of 24 would I have imagined it would be a sport that has shaped my life. A sport that has given me so much opportunity that I'm sure I wouldn't have got with Athletics and particularly with throwing a discus or shot putt. 🃏I'm proud to say I took all the cards I was dealt, good and bad and fully maximised on opportunity. Said yes as often as possible and put myself in the unknown more times then I can count. 🙏🏽The hard world and grind will for ever continue on and off the pitch but for now... Grateful.
