On this day 2 years ago, the first of the 3 worst disasters ive ever covered sparked to life as the costliest wildfire in Colorado history tore through the suburbs of Boulder, CO. I still have nights where I can hear the constant booms of propane tanks and tires exploding. 9 months later Hurricane Ian would completely destroy an area that would personally impact good friends of mine and 7 months later we'd be pulling people out of buildings in Rolling Fork, MS. Its been a mentally rough couple years, but continuing to bring awareness and stories of these disasters to light is why I wouldn't choose any other career path #wildfire #fire #marshallwildfire #marshallfire #bouldercolorado #colorado #coloradolive #coloradoliving #coloradoinstagram #coloradolife #lifeincolorado #historic #breakingnews #news #stormchasers #stormchasing #journalist #journalism #otd #destruction #ig_stormchasers #storytelling #stormhour
