Two nights ago while shooting an insane aurora display over North Dakota a rare STEVE made an appearance over the night skies. After I shot the image I posted yesterday, I wondered if I could pull off this photo. Not knowing how it would stitch and difficult shooting conditions I tried anyway, and today I was floored to see it stitched properly. This 7 image panorama is of a full arched "STEVE" sharing the night skies with the Milky Way and David's truck shining underneath. This will probably be one of my favorite photos I have ever taken . . #auroraborealis #aurora #northernlights #northdakota #northdakotaphotography #northdakotalegendary #STEVE #longexposureshots #milkyway #milkywaychasers #milkywayphotography #nightscapes #nightlife #northdakotalife #natgeophotography #natgeowild #natgeo #natureiswild #naturephotography #natureisbeautiful #nature #earthfocus #earth #earthlove #sonyalpha #sonyimages
