When 14mm is barely enough.... After tucking our tails between our legs thinking today was over and yet another underwhelming chase across New Mexico. Skies ignited for us before we could begin our drive back to Amarillo. We pulled over to capture a few bolts of lightning when our storms went absolutely ballistic with a close range CG onslaught and not a single other person around. This went on for nearly 2 hours and I was literally shaking in fear wondering where the next would hit. So many photos to edit tonight, but this is by far my favorite!
