In a world so overrun by people, technology, and buildings I often find myself wondering what this world would have been like untouched by man. North of the arctic circle lies the Dalton Highway. A magical highway leading to....well....no where. Surrounded by mountains and air so still you can hear your ears ringing and not a building in site for hundreds of miles. Last night, David and I cleared the cloud deck and as we leaped out of the vehicle we watched in awe as lady aurora began to dance. I've heard stories of people hearing the auroras in the sky. But, I've always raised my eye brow to these stories. Last night, those fairy tale stories became a reality. I watched, and listened as the aurora whistled through the skies above me. Purples, and green spiraled like Christmas ribbons in December across the moon lit sky as I shouted to the heavens above with excitement. So many more photos to come and this was only Day 1! . . . #roam247 #roamtheplanet #auroraborealis #northernlights ...
