The PCT sure has been a humbling experience. See both of those peaks out there with snow? Over the past two weeks I have walked across both of those, down into the valley and made my way up the toughest hike I have ever done. 5500 feet of elevation gain over the course of 21.5 miles. All vertical hiking carrying 5 liters of water in this long, waterless stretch. Just when you feel like giving up, and wanting to go home, you get to the top, and as if nature spoke to me it reminded me why I was out here.
