As parents, my wife and I feel that the current educational system falls short in teaching our children about Black History. However, we see this as an opportunity to be our kids' first introduction to their heritage and to serve as their dedicated teachers. It's a privilege and a joy to pass down the knowledge of their ancestry and the accomplishments of the kings and queens that came before them.
