How Every Name Goes Extinct? #names #historytok #todayilearned #TikTokLearningCampaign Every name has a lifespan. Even famous names that are backed by literature or history, are prone to stochastic drift over time. So a name like Alexandros has been pretty stable in Greece (because Alexander the great is so popular and frequently references). But other countries like Scotland have already changed the name to Alistair, or Spain has changed it to Alejandro. And given enough time, Greece's own pronunciation will drift to something else!
