What are the UN ‘Global Goals’ and why do they matter? The unitednations Sustainable Development Goals or ‘SDGs’ are 17 goals set by the UN General Assembly in 2015 to achieve by 2030. They cover everything from ‘No Poverty’ and ‘Quality Education’ to ‘Climate Action’ and ‘Responsible Consumption and Production’.
