“I am an engineer and at the time I did my Bachelor, there were only a few women going into engineering,” said Nadine. Nadine was lucky to find a manager who saw her potential and believed in her competencies, giving Nadine the confidence she needed. She showed Nadine how to be a model for building relationships and developing people, teaching her that without happy people, you cannot do anything and that investing in people is key. “Believe in yourself. We all have something to bring to the team. Never let somebody stop you from dreaming,” added Nadine. “What is important is to have the right person in the right position, whatever their gender.
