Today we meet Stefano Birner, who together with his wife Ute owns the Juwelier Endres in Würzburg, Germany. Now that a large part of the world is gradually opening up again, the Chronoswiss team was very happy to welcome visitors from long-time partner Juwelier Endres, a multi-brand boutique located right by the impressive St. Kilian’s Cathedral in this lovely Bavarian city. How was your visit to the Chronoswiss atelier in Lucerne? “To see the watchmakers in action, to experience the guilloché – we could also try it ourselves – was, in one word, impressive! And we have visited quite a few watchmakers over the years.” I can imagine. How long has Juwelier Endres been in business? “The jeweller has existed since 1906, and my wife Ute and I took over in 2002. Three years later, in 2005 we started working with Chronoswiss.” How would you describe Chronoswiss? “Watchmaking competency...
