The Northport Running Club will be hosting the downward mile this Saturday, June 3rd! . The Northport Downhill Mile is a fun and fast downhill 1 mile race that that celebrates and promotes Northport’s nature, village charm, and community spirit. . The race starts at Laurel Ave School (same place as the Great Cow Harbor 10k), and runs north (downhill!) on Laurel to Main Street, then turn left and run through the village, ending at the harbor front park where there will be an awards ceremony and participants can visit the Saturday farmers market. .
