a year ago today i was working as a Summer Welcome leader. Just as i was about to lead a group of freshmen on a tour of Greek Town with my work best friend Rilee Malloy, my phone rang. an unknown number appeared on my screen. i then did the exact opposite of what i usually do when i get calls from unknown numbers, i picked it up. that one phone call led me to getting my dream internship with Mizzou Athletics. i want to say a huge thank you to all the people that stood by and have loved and supported me throughout the wild journey but, i’m not done yet. i just hope i’m making 13 year old raena who was making YouTube videos in her bedroom every week proud.
