I didn’t share vows with him but my unspoken commitment and my actions are loud. I am always there. Life is complicated. I see everyone posting pics as if this parenting thing is easy. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever taken on. And he’s far from perfect. Who the fuck are all these folks foisting fantasies on us all just to look good… and to whom. My life with my child is messy and complex. Still wouldn’t trade any of it in. Just keeping hope alive for better days to come with more regularity. To all the parents out there who struggle, I see you.
