This young man is Ali and he is my #DreamMaker … he is a young teen I met in Zaatari refugee camp 3 years ago. My goals, plans and dreams for a future come down to being useful to my community, to help solve problems and make life navigable for ALL human beings, not just those with more opportunity. Ali made my dreams come true when he and I spent the day together, He inspired me, shared his story with me and cemented in mind how I could best be useful and of service in my life. What Ali lacked was OPPORTUNITY. So I resolved to focus on increasing access and opportunity with all of my non-profit work. And it’s made a difference…thanks to Ali.
