Seafood from the coast of Chile is ridiculously good. I had too much fun trying everything at Angelmo Market in Puerto Montt, Chile from the crabmeat to ceviche…all from these beautiful waters. A vendor also told me how popular salmon is becoming amongst the locals. Though salmon farming has made mistakes in this region, I'm thrilled to see forward-thinking companies like Verlasso lead the way for innovation in sustainable aquaculture. Seafood farming done right is critical to supporting the health of our oceans, our food systems, and the local communities here in Chile.
