This month, we as Mercedes-Benz are paying tribute to streets that have made their mark on LGBTQIA+ history. It all began in 1948, when a gay tea store opened in the narrow streets of Tokyo’s Shinjuku Ni-chōme district. Bars, clubs, and cafés followed.
