The State Fair of Texas is way more fun when you have a game plan 🤠🎡 Save these tips before you go: ⏰ Go earlier in the season if you can to beat some of the crowds. Getting there early in the day helps, too! 🎟️ Treat coupons like cash. One coupon = $1. Found some from last year? Bring them! Coupons don’t expire, so save any extras for next year. 🍴 Go with people who will split food with you. This is my biggest tip!! You’ll get to try more of your hit list without getting full after two stops. 🗺️ Make a hit list before you arrive. This one is extra, and optional but I scout out the new food drops early, group my must-try foods and activities by area so I am not walking back and forth across Fair Park. 💸 Don’t pay full price for admission without checking the deals first. Bring five canned food items on Wednesday for $7 admission, look into Dr Pepper Value Days on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or check the discounts for military members and first responders.
