This nonprofit restaurant runs a paid, year-long internship for justice-involved youth, helping them build culinary skills and life skills through mentorship, education, mental health support, and financial literacy. 📚 Founded by Chef Chad Houser, Café Momentum is proof that restaurants can be agents of change. What started as a pop-up has grown nationally and was recently honored as the James Beard Foundation Humanitarian of the Year. 🙌 The food? Amazing. The impact?
