Building muscle:⁠ .⁠ What is the most effective way to build muscle tissue?⁠ .⁠ Well; if you look at Instagram you're going to see a lot of booty bands, hop skips, and ultimately just some unnecessary fuckery. Although this makes for good social media content, it's not effective and certainly not worthwhile.⁠ .⁠ The most effective way to build muscle tissue is to focus on progressive overload... This means you need to be very diligent at progressing week over week. This means you need to keep very detailed logs of how much weight you're using and how many reps you get. Each week you should be progressing in either reps or weight.⁠ .⁠ For example... If my failure set has a rep scheme of 8-10 reps, I will stick with the same weight until I exceed 10 reps before I look at moving up in weight... So let's say week 1: 80lbs & I got 8 reps, week 2: I'd stick with the same weight: 80lbs, and this time I got 11 reps. That means that on week 3 I would bump up to 85lbs & then focus on exceeding 1...
