We got to do one of our favorite things today! If you’ve been here for a while you might remember we used to go visit and volunteer at retirement centers all the time… We obviously had to stop doing that in 2020 when Covid hit. I have been looking forward to getting back in there and now that Dillon is a little bit older and Dexter is out of school for summer we went!!!! Dexter has been going since he was a tiny baby and it has played a huge role in his social development. It’s so beneficial for elderly people and very young kids to interact for both sides. We look forward to visiting more this summer, let me know if you’d like to join us or I encourage you to reach out to a retirement center that is close to you, you can ask for the volunteer coordinator, see what they have in mind and go from there.
