🎉 CONGRATS to our team in Burkina Faso and the members of the Boussa community for launching a brand new deep-water well -- our first in the country for 2023! 💧 Situated just adjacent to a primary school, this new well will provide lasting access to clean water for 245 registered students and the surrounding community of over 1,400 people. The school has needed a well for a long time as the nearest clean water well is over a half a mile walk. A different organization tried to drill a well for the school in 2021, but they never found water. Instead of drilling again, they just attached a pump and left a dry well. 😢 We are happy to report that the pump we installed will actually provide clean, consistent, convenient water to the community for years to come! 🥳 The community members came out to celebrate this momentous milestone in full form!
