Thanks for weighing in on the 3 wall sconces I was considering for our guest bedroom makeover! (See previous post) Is this the one you voted for??? Let me know in the comments! I chose this sconce for a few reasons: 1) It can be either hard-wired or plugged in. I didn’t want to limit myself (or future homeowners) by running electrical here, so we opted for the plug-in option. 2) I just couldn’t get over that darling pull chain! Since it’s a plug-in light, I wanted the switch to be easily accessible for our guests. Often times the switch is on the cord, which can be annoying if you have to reach back behind the nightstand just to turn the lamp on. 3) The lampshade casts a soft light in the room. As much as I LOVED the sconce with the clear glass shade, I was afraid the light would be too harsh for the bedside. 4) Budget! Our guest room is used only a handful of times throughout the year (except for this year - thanks a lot Covid 😒) so it makes sense to save where we can! And ...
