We could leave this as a 🎤 mic drop moment, but it wouldn’t do Congressman Mondaire Jones justice! Mondaire Jones is the first openly gay Black man in Congress. That means a lot to a lot of people, but Rep. Jones isn’t here for symbolic victories. Since taking office, he’s been unapologetically Black, gay and progressive and he isn’t slowing down. Rep. Jones’ mother told him that he could be anything he wanted, and he isn’t taking that radical push lightly. Rep.
