Did you know that #CBCPAC is run by a team of #BlackWomen? Under the leadership of @cbc_pac_ed Yolonda Addison, CBCPAC has raised more than $13M, a historical high for the PAC! In the 2020 Election cycle, we were able to give directly to Congressional Candidates who shared our values and commitment to moving #Congress forward with regard to racial justice and equity for Black communities throughout the United States. We’ve helped support over 120 candidates running for Congress and helped elect or reelect nearly 50% of the candidates we supported. Additionally, we’ve supported other organizations who have a commitment to increase the number of Black progressive lawmakers to Congress. The women of CBCPAC aren’t ever going to be the loudest in the room, but the numbers don’t lie, we are some of the hardest working.
