Brandon Casey is the first Black Chief of Staff for the House Committee on Ways and Means. Previously, Casey served as Legislative Director and Tax Counsel for Rep. Richard Neal, and served as Tax Counsel for former Rep. Allyson Schwartz. Brandon Casey is a Chicago native. Raised on the South Side by a single parent, Casey defied odds to become one of the first members of his family to complete his undergraduate degree. While in college, Casey interned with the Congressional Black Caucus's own Rep. Bobby Rush. After completing both his B.A. and J.D. at Marquette University, Brandon Casey knew he wanted to head back to Capitol Hill to work in politics. Brandon Casey has spent more than a decade successfully seeing his post-collegiate vision come to fruition.
