Utah Salts - 1 Me - 0 This is my epic era and I’m full in. Maybe a bit to much but what better way to do anything….just dive in. We are outside and back to our normal adventures exploring. This time the destination is Salt Lake City and the salts are a large plot of land covered in salt. It’s not sandy, more of a crystal texture but I can be slushy. Proceed with caution because although you can drive on it, you can also get stuck. Some areas get so slushy, you sink and it’s not the easiest thing to get out of. The salts are about an hour drive from the airport and I would highly recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle if you plan on driving into the salts. It’s also free! We love that. People do race or drive fast in general on them and there is plenty of space. Bring shoes or clothing that you don’t mind getting wet. The salt sticks.
