Zion was one of those rare No. 1 picks who felt generational from the start. The recruitment process, the college dominance, and the draft night expectations all pointed to a player who could change the pace and physicality of the league. Instead, injuries have shaped the narrative more than any individual season or stretch of games. The flashes are still there when he is available, but the availability itself has been the missing piece for years. The gap between the early projections and the reality on the floor has grown mostly because of that. The desire to see him succeed has not disappeared. There is still enough talent and physical upside that a healthy stretch would feel like watching the player so many people have been waiting for since the beginning. - @crssd for more basketball content! - @greggy.518 - #nba #zionwilliamson
