Every year, the team flies the flag at their events. It’s tradition. But this time, the bag didn’t make it. So they reached out to the Ol’ Crimson Facebook group for help. Greg Trinkle, a Wazzu alum who holds the record for the most individual College GameDay flag waves (49), saw the post. He had the actual Ol’ Crimson flag in Atlanta and didn’t hesitate. He made sure it got to Oak Ridge, Tennessee in time. This is the same flag that’s flown at over 300 College GameDays, kept alive by generations of Cougs. And this weekend, it flew again — over a Coug team that finished top 10 out of 77 schools at the championships. That’s Pullman pride. That’s what it means to be a Coug #GoCougs #OlCrimson #WSURowing #CougCamaraderie #barstoolwazzu
