If you're familiar with our original playing cards, you know the face cards are illustrated only in black and white. Why? Owner/designer Tyler Deeb (tyler_g_deeb) is color blind.
Now, 10 years later, when deciding to revisit the product that launched Misc. Goods, Tyler knew he would have to call in some help if he wanted to make his original cards even better by adding color.
That help came first from Dan Christofferson (beeteeth). Dan helped create a color language and approach for the cards. Next, Brent Schoepf (brentschoepf) executed the vision while bringing in his own expertise. Lastly, Tyler called in a favor from Damien Correll (damiencorrell), asking to use some of his color collages to design the art on the tuck cases.
This project is truly a collaborative effort and we hope you take the opportunity to celebrate 10 years of Misc. Goods with us! Link in bio.
