Cal South ended up in two finals today at the 2023 USYS Far West Regional Championships in Boise, Idaho but lost their bids for a National Championship Series regional title this year. In the 14U Boys final, Xplosion SC Black was topped by Oregon Premier FC, 4-2. while another Oregon Premier team won the 19U Boys final, 6-2 over the Fellowship of Christian Athletes team. However, both Cal South teams still qualify for July’s National Championships in Orlando due to both Oregon teams having already qualified through the USYS National League.
