Hey hockey players...are you making this mistake on leg day?? We recently had a player tell us that he was struggling to get faster, more explosive starts. When we had a look at what he was doing in the gym, it turned out that he was mainly doing squats and deadlifts. Not that there's anything wrong with those exercises - they are extremely beneficial for hockey - it's just that they shouldn't be the ONLY ones you're doing.
