Hey hockey players...are you making this mistake on leg day??⁠ ⁠ We recently had a player tell us that he was struggling to get faster, more explosive starts. When we had a look at what he was doing in the gym, it turned out that he was mainly doing squats and deadlifts. ⁠ ⁠ Not that there's anything wrong with those exercises - they are extremely beneficial for hockey - it's just that they shouldn't be the ONLY ones you're doing.⁠ ⁠ You need to be training other movement patterns as well.⁠ ⁠ Which ones?
