⛰️ Yes, nature is awesome, but when you go on a hike that could use a pair of skis, the adventure turns into a slip and slide! ⛰️ Lake Tahoe had so much snow this winter that even on July 1 it’s a winter wonderland only a couple miles up the trail from the Eagle Lake trailhead. It might look fun, but if it weren’t for alltrails we’d still be up there trying to find the way! ⛰️ The weather was 80 degrees, so a lot more water will be heading down the mountain as the snow melts. We gave up and turned around after 6 miles of zig zags around the trail, but you can do a nice loop to several lakes once the snow melts a bit more 😎 💙 Anyone been to Lake Tahoe or going?
