I have never been so close to a fire before. Even here in Manhattan Beach, I could feel its devastating effects - the wind, the power outages, the ash falling from the sky this morning. I can’t even imagine what it must be like to lose everything in a matter of minutes. I have been praying for all those affected by this horrible tragedy. And to the first responders. Maybe it’s because I now have a brother who is a firefighter/ paramedic and would be fighting this if he lived in CA, but I can’t stop thinking about these men and women. Been praying nonstop that God return them safe and sound to their homes after a hell of a workday. We owe them so much ❤️. #palisades #californiafires #prayforcalifornia
