#COVshoutout to mia_vball from #COV17Platinum on her commitment to Shorter University!! 🤩🥳 🔹Mia chose shorter_volleyball because the team and coach made her feel welcome and a part of a community where she would belong. She felt like the campus and business program were a good fit for her and that she would thrive in a Christian school with like-minded peers. She felt loved and wanted, as much as she loved and wanted to be at Shorter. She believes it’s a place where she can contribute and will also be invested in. 🔹She wants to thank her parents, who have both invested so much time and effort into her, being there when she was down and always encouraging her to keep going. She also wants to thank Coach Jacob and Coach Kelsey, who both have and continue to push her to her fullest potential, and Coach Jim, who taught her at an early age how to be tough and go outside her comfort zone.
