Based on actual events, "Inside Man" follows disgraced New York Police Detective Bobby Belucci as his life unravels after he finds his wife is having an affair. She abandons her boyfriend after beating him to a pulp, and Bobby is demoted at work, sparking his drive to show he is worthy of salvation. His aim is to go undercover as a grunt and enter the Gambino crime family's legendary "DeMeo Crew," a vicious and bloodthirsty gang that terrorized the 1960s and 1970s. Bobby will go to any length to get close to the crew's leader, Roy DeMeo, and expose the murder and corruption. However, as Bobby becomes more entrenched in the mafia and additional bodies are discovered, the cost of forgiveness may rise.
