Seinfeld’s got rhythm! jerryseinfeld . . Lately I’ve become interested in the rhythms of standup comedy. Seinfeld is using rhythm effectively here – varying his rate of speech (or “subdivisions”) to keep you engaged and to make the punchline at the end hit especially hard, like a big crash on the downbeat after a fill. . . . There is definitely a link between comedy and drums…which is why some of the best standups, like James Acaster, Fred Armisen, and wilfredburr are also drummers! . . #seinfeld #jerryseinfeld #rhythm #drummersofinstagram #standupcomedy #timing #comedyvideos #letterman #vicfirth #drumcommunity #standup #comedian #studythegreats #lateshow #doingnothing #musicmemes #seinfeldmeme #drumlads #drumsdaily #drumfam #pickupmusic #drumuniversity drumuniversity gadelmalah
