Morgan Wallen FINALLY won Entertainer of the Year last night at the CMA Awards after being nominated so many years in a row and not receiving it. Unfortunately, Wallen wasn’t there to accept the award, and the reason why isn’t clear. It could be that he thought he wasn’t going to win, or maybe he just had other plans. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷‍♀️ Either way, even though he didn’t attend, he still got a lot of attention that night. When Jeff Bates announced Wallen as the winner, it was obvious he hadn’t studied the nominees beforehand—he completely butchered Wallen’s last name, calling him “Morgan Waylon.” Unsurprisingly, Wallen fans were irate about it. But the look on George Strait’s face says it all! 😂🤣 Follow CountryMusicTunes if you’re a true fan of MorganWallen and GeorgeStrait! #MorganWallen #CMAAwards #EntertainerOfTheYear #GeorgeStrait #JeffBates #CountryMusic #CountryLegends #LiveOnABC #CMAWinner #CountryTonight #CountryArtist #CountryNews
