Over 82,000 people gathered at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, this past weekend for a 5-hour-long event called “Concert for Carolina,” where all the profits from the concert were donated to help those most affected by Hurricane Helene. The profits were split between Samaritan’s Purse, Manna Food Bank, Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina, and Eblen Charities. The concert was also live-streamed for free to the affected areas so people in those communities could watch the incredible fundraising event. Even Randy Travis and his wife, Mary, made a surprise appearance to support the cause. Other country stars like Scotty McCreery, Keith Urban, and James Taylor also made an appearance on stage. All in all, over $24 million was raised Saturday night to help those in need, and Luke Combs said, “This will undoubtedly go down as the night I am most proud of in my career.” Slide to see highlights from the event!
