Hello #MasonNation and welcome to Green Machine’s Feature Friday! This is a space for us to highlight exceptional things happening with our ensembles, students, staff, and more! Our first ever Feature Friday highlights one of our historical ensembles, The 8th GM Regiment Band, and their recording project! 💚💛🎶 Earlier this year, The 8th GM Regiment Band recorded 5 different songs from their repertoire to share on our YouTube channel. This group performs at a variety of events across Virginia, with upcoming performances such as a concert at the Ashby Ponds Senior Living Center and the Fort Steven’s 159th Battle Anniversary. Earlier this week they had the opportunity to perform at the Virginia Independence Day Parade! We are so proud of this ensemble and all of its hard work!
